Annie Mist Thorisdottir comes from Iceland's Reykjavik. She is the co-owner of Crossfit Reykjavik where she also is a coach and trainer. Annie is the first female who has won CrossFit Games in two consecutive years. The CrossFit Games were her second place CrossFit Games in 2010 and the 2014 edition. Annie Thorisdottir is an Icelanders CrossFit weightlifter, athlete and media-star. She won CrossFit Games 2011 and 2012 two times as the first woman to win. In addition, she is known for being the winner of both the Dubai Fitness Competition in 2013 as well as the 2017 Dubai Fitness Competition. Annie was brought up with her family living in Reykjavik Iceland. Being an avid sportsman and working out enthusiast from at an early age, Annie participated in numerous school competitions and won several medals. She participated for the first time in 2009 at the CrossFit Games held in California in which she performed well. Annie Thorisdottir is, in 2021, was 31 years old. She's 5'7 and weighs in the neighborhood of 67 kg. Annie began with her CrossFit training in the year 2009 California. Annie had an impressive performance at her very first games. She ranked among the top 10 in a field of 70. Although she didn't win any title she ended the tournament with 11th rank. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. For CrossFit Games under the guidance of her coach Jami Tikkanen, she came in seconds place and won an Olympic silver medal that same year. The following year, she participated again at CrossFit Games and won them due to her impressive performances. It was her first time as a woman ever to take home a gold medal in CrossFit Games. In 2012 Annie was again the winner of her first CrossFit Games because of her outstanding performance. In addition, she became the first woman who has won twice in CrossFit Games consecutively. In 2014, she also took home a gold. Then in 2021 she took home the bronze medal. Annie trains and coaches in Crossfit Reykjavik that she started. Annie's rise in recognition as a professional athlete has seen her become the spokesperson for many sporting brands, such as Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Rennaisance Nuunhydration and Periodization Sidekicks Yerb. Her self-titled Youtube page is awash with over 1000 users, posting videos of her family, travel and other topics along with training and diet plans.
