Ali MacGraw
Elizabeth Alice MacGraw better known as Ali MacGraw is an award-winning American model, author, designer as well as an animal rights activist. Ali MacGraw is well-known for movies such as Love Story, Goodbye Columbus and The Getaway. The Getaway was released in 1972. New York, she was born into an artistic family. Her first position was a photo assistant. She then moved on to modeling and acting. The first two films she appeared in she received recognition as a winner of the Golden Globe Award as Most Popular Young Actress. MacGraw's 1970 feature film Love Story was an international success, earning her the Academy Award nomination and Golden Globe Award. After only three movies, she was voted the Top female debut at the box office around the globe. The handprints of her signature, as well as footprints were immortalized in 1972 at the Grauman's Chinese Theater. Other credits are The Getaway Convoy Players, TV miniseries The Winds of War and other. Moving Pictures is her autobiography released in 1991. MacGraw was married three times.
